June 2026 Curry Connect – Monthly All Employee Meeting
On Friday, June 26, 2026, Curry Construction employees gathered for another engagingAll Employee Meeting focused on recognizing outstanding teamwork, welcoming new aces, celebrating promotions, introducing new technology, and reinforcing the importance of making safe choices both on and off the job. The meeting served as a reminder that our greatest strength continues to be the people who make up the Curry Construction team.
Here’s a recap of what was discussed — and celebrated.
Lunch & Networking
Employees kicked off the afternoon by enjoying grilled hamburgers and cheeseburgers prepared by Josh Harner. Lunch provided another great opportunity for employees from the office, shop, and field to reconnect, share stories from recent projects, and strengthen relationships across the company.
Welcome Message– Beth Arndt
Beth Arndt welcomed everyone to the meeting and thanked employees for their continued commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork. As another busy construction season continues, she emphasized the importance of maintaining the culture that has made Curry Construction successful for generations.

One of the highlights of every All Employee Meeting is recognizing fellow employees through the Hard Hat Hotline. These peer nominations showcase the teamwork, dedication, and positive attitudes that make Curry Construction a great place to work.
- Dakota Conner Recognizes Michelle Niebrugge
- Dakota shared her appreciation for Michelle’s ongoing support across Curry Construction, NAC Industries, and HLC Fabrication.
- She noted that Michelle has become “the glue that holds our technology together” while consistently bringing creativity, patience, and support to every challenge. Dakota specifically thanked Michelle for helping her transition into her new role with NAC Industries and for always being willing to assist whenever needed.
- Drew Endsley Recognizes the Asset Management Team
- Drew took the opportunity to recognize the entire Asset Management team:

- Drew shared that while he often receives recognition himself, every success is the direct result of the team surrounding him. He praised the group’s willingness to set aside individual egos, work together, and accomplish a wide variety of goals every day.

- Amber Seip Recognizes the Office Team
- Amber expressed her appreciation for the office staff whose work often happens behind the scenes but impacts every project and every crew.
- She highlighted the team’s flexibility, teamwork, and willingness to jump in wherever needed to support field operations and fellow coworkers.
- A special recognition was given to Lindsey Vandermeer for her outstanding dedication and the countless responsibilities she manages behind the scenes.

- Jason Hetzel Recognizes the CAT Project Team
- Jason thanked Matt Haines and the entire Caterpillar crew for their outstanding work covering customer operations during his absence while attending the annual ASSP Safety Conference.
- He also expressed appreciation to John Curry and Beth Arndt for providing him the opportunity to attend the conference. Knowing the customer was well taken care of allowed him to fully focus on bringing back new ideas and safety knowledge that will benefit the entire company.
- Fred Leonard Recognized for Outstanding Teamwork
- Fred Leonard was recognized for consistently going above and beyond by transporting employees safely to and from jobsites and always being willing to help wherever needed.
- His dependability, professionalism, punctuality, and positive attitude make him an outstanding example of teamwork and servant leadership.
- Thank you, Fred, for everything you do to support your coworkers.

Miter Punch Clock Introduction
Lindsey Vandermeer introduced employees to the Miter Punch Clock system, providing an overview of how the new platform will improve timekeeping accuracy and streamline payroll processes.
Employees learned how the system will be used moving forward and what to expect during implementation.
Guest Safety Speaker
This month’s special guest speaker was Jim Pitzer, Loss Control Consultant with Gallagher Bassett.
Jim delivered an outstanding presentation titled: Making the Right Choices at Work and Home
The presentation focused on how everyday decisions impact safety—not only at work, but also with family and at home.
- Hazard Communication Training — Jim reviewed the company’s Hazard Communication Program, including: Chemical hazards, Flammable materials, Hazardous chemical inventories, Safe work procedures, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and GHS labeling requirements. Understanding chemical hazards and knowing where to find safety information helps protect everyone on the jobsite.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) — Employees were reminded that PPE remains one of the most effective defenses against workplace injuries. Topics included: Gloves, Eye protection and face shields, Head protection, Hearing protection, and Respiratory protection. The right PPE only works when it’s worn correctly every time.
- Preventing Back Injuries & Muscle Strains — Jim also discussed one of construction’s most common injury categories—soft tissue injuries. Topics included: Proper lifting techniques, Handling heavy or awkward materials, Repetitive motion injuries, Poor posture and workstation ergonomics, Twisting while lifting, Improving mobility through stretching and movement, Hydration and injury prevention. One interesting reminder was that the spinal discs are made up of nearly 100% water, making proper hydration an important part of maintaining a healthy back. Employees also reviewed common signs of dehydration, strain prevention techniques, and proper overhead lifting principles.
