  • Description: Curry Construction built a state-of-the-art water treatment plant for the City of Litchfield, replacing the city’s 80-year-old facility. The new four-million-gallon-per-day (MGD) plant provides advanced treatment flexibility, utilizing both granular media and membrane filtration systems, which can operate independently or together as needed. Notably, it is one of only a few plants in Illinois to use membrane filtration on a surface water supply, setting a new standard for quality and reliability in water treatment for the community.
